Toxic Waste Projects
Western has been under contract with the federal government to manifest, transport and dispose of heavy metal toxic waste. For several years, Western performed testing and analysis of mine waste accumulations. At battery recycling sites and junkyards, Western has developed a new method to treat toxic waste streams and accumulations with agents to render the waste non-hazardous. These methods have been approved and employed to remediate lead contamination in large volumes of contaminated soil. Western is seeking patent protection on a proven treatment process for toxic heavy metal waste.
