Western is under contract with oil and gas producers to control, assess and cleanup spills of oil, produced water, salt bearing waste and condensate at well sites throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Our personnel manage the testing and cleanup of oilfield well sites, tank batteries, pipelines and other facilities. Cleanup of oilfield spill sites may begin immediately, or an initial environmental assessment can be completed to document current conditions. The information can be used to more accurately determine the scope and costs of a planned cleanup. Our personnel obtain soil and ground water samples for testing by certified analytical laboratories. We manage the removal of petroleum contaminated soil, cleanup of contaminated ground water and the restoration of oil producing sites and facilities. We have remediated and permanently closed dozens of oil & gas production sites and facilities. We have disposed of tens of thousands of cubic yards of petroleum contaminated soil. Western performs environmental monitoring of a soil bio-remediation land farm for a large oil company. Western has also responded to many accident locations, where fuel or waste has been spilled into soil and water, or into buildings, drainages and roadways. Our personnel perform product or waste recovery and cleanup of residual contamination. All waste generated during the cleanups is properly disposed. Conditions after completing cleanups can be documented by sampling and environmental testing.
