Underground Fuel Tank Systems
Western is a listed removal and cleanup corporation with the Colorado Department of Labor – Division of Oil and Public Safety. This agency regulates the operation, removal and cleanup of underground fuel tank systems in the state of Colorado. Western conducts our tank system removals and cleanups in accordance with requirements. We have obtained significant cleanup reimbursement payments for our customers for eligible work completed to remove and cleanup releases of gasoline and diesel fuel which have leaked from underground fuel tank systems.
Western has removed old and abandoned fuel from systems and prepared tanks for safe removal at hundreds of properties and facilities. We have completed environmental testing of soil and ground water to close or plan for cleanup of fuel tank locations. We are familiar with all regulations and have been doing work to remediate problem fuel tank storage sites for 17 years. Our goal is to safely remove tank vessels and to achieve closure at all fuel tank sites as soon as possible.
