Western routinely cleans and removes abandoned or unwanted fuel systems and performs assessments and property cleanups if a fuel leak has occurred. Western has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for eligible property cleanup costs for our customers. We have safely removed hundreds of fuel tanks and systems.
Western has planned and completed voluntary cleanups of hazardous, toxic and petroleum wastes sites. Projects have required the acquisition of special waste generation, handling and disposal documents to complete cleanup and restoration or demolition projects. Western is an area waste broker for hazardous, toxic and petroleum waste.
Western has saved significant amounts of money for our clients. At one project, our personnel designed and operated systems to evaporate over 12,000 gallons of petroleum waste water per hour in lieu of expensive transport and off-site disposal of the waste. We also have designed and operated environmentally friendly ground water cleanup systems at remote locations, using new solar powered devices and systems. Western has also developed a new technique to treat heavy metal toxic waste which is generated at shooting ranges, battery recycling facilities, junkyards and metal ore mining sites. Western is seeking patent protection on this new waste treatment method.
